End of October
Hello All!
Three months has gone by in a blink! Lots have happened since the last post. My weeks are jam packed, which is good because my house is sooooo cold, I don't want to be in it. Play practice is in full swing. I am trying to get my lines memorized, but it's hard. I am tutoring a little five year-old we are having a good time. Just wish I could talk to her a bit more! I am also tutoring a twenty-five year old who lives in my town. She just passed her teaching exam and will become an English teacher in April. I myself am being tutored and working diligently at a self taught Japanese course. I am going to need to look in to tapes for my car soon, since I am always on the go. I used a dryer for the first time since moving to Japan. Thankfully a Laundromat opened a few blocks from my house. It opened just in time, since the weather has gotten cold things no longer dry. My shower towel is pretty much always wet and cold. In two weeks I will be getting new air conditioners/heaters which I am very excited about. I will never understand the lack of heating. I am still very confused if they even put heaters in the classrooms, it wouldn't surprise me if they just let them get very, very cold. Over the last week or so I've been trying to teach my kids about Halloween. I don't believe they truly get it and I think, they think I am lying when I tell them we don't eat our Halloween pumpkin. A paper pumpkin project got out of control and I ended up coloring 331 pumpkins and having the children add the face. I then returned them with a little piece of candy.
My new addiction is e-bay! I am a bit too busy to be successful at it. Oh, well (buying that is).
I am at work at the moment and a bit distraction, so I am going to sign off for now! Love to all!
